Privacy Policy

How WhiBlu International Pty Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal information across our website, app and booking services.

Draft for legal review — last updated 8 October 2026

This page is a working draft. The final wording is being prepared with WhiBlu's legal adviser before launch. The structure below reflects what the policy will cover. For any privacy question in the meantime, email support@whiblu.com.

1. Who we are

WhiBlu International Pty Ltd (ABN 29 695 515 792), trading as WhiBlu, of 6 Lancaster Dr, Goonellabah NSW 2480. We operate a point-to-point transport booking platform under NSW Point to Point Transport authorisation.

2. What personal information we collect

Your name and contact details — phone number and email address.
Pickup and destination addresses for each booking.
Payment data, processed by our payment providers.
Location data from the app while a trip is being arranged or is underway.
Booking history, receipts and any notes you add to a trip.
Records of contact with our team, including phone bookings and enquiry forms.

3. How we use it

To arrange, dispatch and complete your booking.
To pass the pickup details a driver needs to collect you safely.
To keep riders and drivers safe, and to investigate incidents or lost property.
To provide support, receipts and account or corporate invoicing.
To improve the service — coverage, waiting times and reliability.
To meet our obligations under NSW Point to Point Transport law.

4. Location tracking during trips

The app uses location data to match you with a nearby driver, to show your driver's live position, and to record the route travelled. This is what makes an upfront fare accountable. The final policy will set out exactly when location is collected and for how long it is kept.

5. Payment processing

Card payments are handled by third-party payment providers. WhiBlu does not store full card numbers. The final policy will name the providers used and where that data is processed.

6. Sharing with drivers and service providers

Drivers receive only what they need to complete your trip. We also use service providers for hosting, communications, payments and analytics, each bound to handle your information in line with this policy and Australian privacy law.

7. Storage and security

Personal information is held on secured systems, with access limited to people who need it to do their job. The final policy will describe retention periods and the steps we take to protect data from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

8. Access and correction

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Email support@whiblu.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

9. Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at support@whiblu.com so we can put it right. Complaints are handled under the Australian Privacy Principles, and you may escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not satisfied with our response.
