Terms & Conditions
The terms of using WhiBlu's website, app and booking services across Lismore and the Northern Rivers, including bookings, fares and payment.
Draft for legal review — last updated 24 August 2026
This page is a working draft. The final wording is being prepared with WhiBlu's legal adviser before launch. The structure below reflects what the terms will cover. Questions in the meantime? Email support@whiblu.com.
1. About the service
WhiBlu is a booking platform operated by WhiBlu International Pty Ltd (ABN 29 695 515 792) that connects riders with accredited independent drivers, under NSW Point to Point Transport authorisation. WhiBlu is not a fleet operator: drivers use their own vehicles and are responsible for their own licensing, insurance and roadworthiness, to the standard set out on our driver page.
2. Bookings
- Bookings may be made in the WhiBlu app or online.
- Online bookings are requests until we confirm them.
- Pre-booked trips are allocated in advance; on-demand availability depends on drivers being online nearby.
- Please be ready at the pickup time — drivers cannot wait indefinitely without affecting other riders.
3. Cancellations and changes
Tell us as early as you can if plans change, in the app or online, any hour. The final terms will set out any cancellation window and charges that apply to late cancellations or no-shows.
- WhiBlu does not track flight arrivals or delays. It is the passenger's responsibility to cancel or amend a booking if their flight is delayed or changed.
- Australian immigration, customs and biosecurity procedures can take a considerable time after landing. Please book your pickup for when you realistically expect to be out of the terminal, not for the scheduled landing time.
- Drivers are not required to wait for extended periods due to flight delays or airport processing times.
4. Fares
- App bookings display an upfront fare before you confirm. Once accepted, that fare is the price for the trip.
- Phone and online bookings are quoted before the trip proceeds.
- Additional charges may apply for cleaning, damage, or waiting beyond an agreed time.
5. Payment
Payment is accepted in the app, by credit or debit card, or in cash.
6. Passenger conduct
- Seatbelts must be worn, and passengers must follow reasonable directions from the driver.
- Drivers may decline or end a trip where behaviour is unsafe, abusive or unlawful.
- Please tell us at booking about luggage, child seats, assistance animals or anything else affecting the vehicle sent.
7. Lost property
Email support@whiblu.com as soon as you notice something missing. Trips are logged, so items left in a vehicle can usually be traced to a driver quickly.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, the final terms will set out the limits of WhiBlu's liability, including for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures or events outside our control.
9. Driver platform terms
Drivers on the platform are covered by a separate agreement dealing with onboarding, accreditation, signage, conduct and payments. See Drive With WhiBlu.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
